4:29pm: Getting sorted
well, i'm slowly getting sorted for a move. working shifts, managing to clean up my website.

Life has been jammed packed with life stuff that seems to get in the way of having a life.

Hopefully i shall be moving out of my flat soon, by the end of november at least. The Housing association have a new place for me, closer to nan, my closest surviving relative, better transport links to work etc.
It will be smaller, but has a balcony (fingers crossed) rather than a garden i currently have. My garden is a bone of contentions, i have lived 3 floors up for most of my life! Like, what do i do with that green stuff! It faces the road so the local kids use it (because they can) Hopefully i shall move as soon as the builders have finished building the place.

Still it has given me time to pack, I know this housing association, they ask you to view a property on a wednesday, and want you to move in the following Monday!

Its halloween, i'm working, should have been glad-raggin it last night. Damned 12 hour shifts, Nevermind, next year.

Working over Xmass again. Hopefully loadsamoney! The company will have to provide transport as i now work in putney. Any suggestions that i could cycle from Kingston to Putney will result in handlebars being shoved where the sun don't shine, sidways. I never could cycle. Peddle, steer, balance i can do, well only as far as 2 at the same time, attempts at all 3 have been nearly leathal to me. So they can bloody well pay for tha cab.

Musicly i have been getting into old style electronica. Ladytron are playing right now, just ordered CDs by Client, may try and see them on Nov 9th in Notting Hill.

Here is to the new year, new home, and shiny future like they used to make ;)

8:20am: Well, I'm just starting to wake up. I have been at work for about 2 hours now!
Finaly got some photos up
Looking good. Shame the other film self destructed.
Xmass is comming and i'm dreading it! Work, thankfully over Xmass itself. Xmass is a time for family, i can only remember being part of one! Only my Nan of my close family is left. She loves her misery, and likes to tell me about it!!! Its not as if i'm struggling enough on my own. Oh well, life goes on.

4:12pm: Curious weekend
Off to meet some old friends from university to watch St Albans burn lots-of-money (Ok, Fireworks!)

Met a friend at Woking who was driving up. and crashed at their place.

Its been 5-6 years since i have seen some of them. Some like me have filled a little round the middle. Another is still as elegant and delicate as ever, But is no longer as thin as i would now associate with that Ally McBeal actress. And another has not changed one single bit! And she accuses me of the same (yeh, right!). I reckon if that we have both have portraits done by the same Mr D. Grey!

Still beer was drunk, some cathing up ensured, The spuds were saved and strange rodents entertained us with their antics (blooming gerbils!). All in all a bit of a shame we couldnt stay over. Short, sweet, and leving me with a taste to under no circumstances to leave it so long till we meet up again. They are Top people indeed in my mind.

Catching up does leave me feeling contemplative. Can't help but think, if this or that had turned out a tad different. I was looking to stay in St Albans when i finished uni, but life and other wierdness got into the way, and with mums illness i would have been dragged back to Kingston sooner or later. Life's weird like that!

1:07pm: well, another day at helpdesk support.
Will the blithering idiot who decided to store all the database servers of this company at a country house outside newbury, fed by overhead power and phone cables, kindly report to the wall out side first thing at the morning. You have an appointment with a fireing squad!

definately got that full-on-AK-47 feeling today.

5:01pm: On a lighter note, SELWG was last weekend. I finaly managed to get my hands on Frontline Wargamings Vickers 6 tonners and 1936 model light tanks. Pretty nice they are too.

I have an interest in wargaming conflicts in the era known as 'between the Wars' (ie between 1918-1939). Just like there have been bush wars since 1945, so people were busy fighting each other back then. These two kits are of the most successful comercial armour of the period which saw much action during the 1930's. Up 'till now no one has done them, but that gap is now filled.

Also picked up are bits and peices to round off my WW2 Germans. The Molsey club is doing normandy, I only have Germans that are suitable. Alas they are perfect for 1940, not 1944! Everything else i have is wrong front, wrong year. So time for this inverse snob to follow his pride and go German. So gaps had to be filled, and now they are.

Ran in to Kenny, Mark and Stuart at SELWG. They have decided to buy the Heroclix system for the club. This has caused some, ohh's and aahs in a Frankie Howard mocking manner. Its a DC and Marvel beat-em-up figure game. Now i'm a geeky as the next geek (*looks across office*, well maybe not that much) but i just never got the superhero bug. Maybe its being brought up on Pulp Sci-fi and fantasy stuff, i dunno, superheros just left me kinda cold. Its a gut thing, can't explain or rationalise it, just is! Some others have muttered about spending comunial funds without refering to the other memebers. Oh dear, social politics.

Flat still a tip, must tidy after painting the figures.

4:14pm: Well what have i been up to, well those loverly people who have taken over the company i work for are ignorant, thick, contradictory, image obssessed idiots who seem to be on a mission to break the company. My Mission, Outlast the barstewards! In the past couple of weeks we have moved into a new wing, Shirt and tie now compulsory, we may only drink out of company mugs, not hot smelly food permitted in the wing, nothing on your desk apart from PC bits and the phone etc! If the manager wants to break the already shakey moral of the company, between his pettyness and bullying nature he is going the right way about it. I swear this is the plauge after war. So will someone realise what they are doing to this once proud but small comapny, or are these fools going to break it? Time will tell.

7:44am: Hmm, whats this button do!
Hello peeps, Just finished a night shift and my work mate Keith comes in to do his shift. I ask his advice on a 'web diary' site and he points me to this.

At the moment i'm putting together my own 2nd web-site as a dry run before I revamp my existing home on the internet. I thought a few more bells and flutes like this sort of thing may be nice.

Thanks to keith for 'inviting me', thanks to you guys for having me. I hope eventualy I may be a credit to the community.
